Týn nad Vltavou - Temelín - Dřítěn - Plástovice - Hluboká nad Vltavou - České Budějovice - Back train

Exit from the lower edge of Týn along the cycle route No. 1078 (Vltavská). The first in line is the village of Bohunice. In the village, watch out for the crossing of cycle paths, continue by turning right along the same route. Follow it across the field to the junction with the main road, go straight through the junction, and you will change to the cycling route number 1095. The Temelín nuclear power plant complex with four huge cooling towers is in sight.

Next to the power plant is also a historic castle with a park. An information center for visitors to this work has been set up inside. From here you will drive on a wide road for a while, but after a few meters the bike path will turn back into the fields. At the next concurrence of roads, turn right onto cycle route No. 1102, and then continue through the village of Kočín to the village of Dříteň. The described sections will escape you really fast, because the paths do not lead to any ascent. At the next stop in the village of Nákří you will see a typical South Bohemian landscape with many water areas and ponds. In Nákří, however, turn left onto Olešník (route no. 1091). You can change the route here as well, turn left and continue on the number 1078. In the villages you pass you can see small religious monuments and rural architecture traditional for this region.

Next on your way will be the village of Záhájí. Beyond its edge, you enter the forest for a while and emerge from it near the village of Munice. From here it is close to Hluboká nad Vltavou. With the help of cycling markings and a red lane sign, you will come to the local castle with a large castle park. For animal lovers there is a zoo near the castle, for athletes there is a golf course. If you stay, you can end the trip here and use the train station in the southeast of the city.

The rest of you continue along the cycle path called Greenway (No. 12) to nearby České Budějovice. During the trip you will pass the village Bavorovice. Of interest is a set of several water areas connected by dikes - called Vrbenské ponds. You can reach them on route no. 1109. There is a special nature trail that will take you through the area.

Look for the railway station on the eastern side of the city, in the direction of the main roads Rudolfovská and Nádražní.
