Bunker Bratronice - Dolní Bezděkov
The buildings of the Prague fortifications called the Prague Line or the Prague Line also include a bunker under the road leading from Bratronic to Dolní Bezděkov. Due to its location, it is probably a European rarity. Its ceiling consists of a road, an entrance and one loophole is below the road on the right in the direction from Bratronic. The second loophole is below the left side of the road. In addition, the Loděnický stream flows in the immediate vicinity of the bunker. During the construction of this fortification building, water had to be pumped out and special insulation was used.

The defensive object was designed for 7 crew members. He survived thanks to his location, because when he was shot, the road was in danger of being destroyed. So, like most other surviving ones, he was poured concrete with stones.
Its current appearance is the result of seven years of efforts by enthusiasts of the Club for Military History. After certainly strenuous, time-consuming and water-leaking work, the bunker was opened in 1999.
Even after the completed reconstruction, however, the work of its restorers does not end. Thanks to the experimental blasting of the occupiers, the building is disturbed and, despite investments and professional interventions, it suffers from occasional flooding. It therefore needs constant renewal and it is not possible to leave equipment in it.
It is accessible only six times a year, and in addition to the authentic exhibits of our army, its exposition also includes a cast-iron chair from the Maginot Line building. This French defensive line was a model for building our fortifications.
Other defensive objects in the vicinity are, for example, the bunkers Smečno and Drnov.
