Opava - Zlatníky - Nový Dvůr - Opava

you will start the trip in the town of Opava, in its part of the city called "Jaktař". This is an easier route full of stops - suitable as a day trip for a family with children.
You set off along a cycle path called Radegast - Opava. Around the road you can notice the line of light fortifications, which was supposed to protect our republic at the time of II. World Wars before the attacks by Nazi Germany. However, as is already known, the fate of the objects was different. Without a fight, they were handed over to the German army.

Interesting facts Opava - Zlatníky - Nový Dvůr - Opava

After a short journey you come to the village Zlatníky, almost directly connected with the village Stěbořice. Between the villages lies a fairly large and nice pond, as well as the alleged Slavic burial ground. However, it is in the woods - and difficult to access the public. You can go around the pond along a bike path, or a shorter way - through the village.
Another important monument in Stěbořice is the local chateau. It is also not currently open to the public.

After a not very demanding and long journey, you will reach the village of Nový Dvůr. Here it is pleasant to visit the local relatively large arboretum, which includes a small castle. The arboretum specializes in dendrology - that is, growing trees from different continents.

From this destination we will set out on the return journey. To use another, unobstructed path, take cycle route No. 6166. It is soon better to use the yellow lane markings - this will significantly shorten your path. Then follow the direction to the village Březová. The road leads through a field, on a very slightly undulating surface.
After the village of Březová, continue along the cycle route No. 6146 towards the village of Milostovice. The route leads directly in the line of fortifications, here you can also see infantry cabins. Those interested in the issue can stop, but it is difficult for a layman to find objects, because they are further from the road - the nearest object is probably an infantry cabin - "at the Trigonometer". From Milostovice it is already a very small piece to our starting point - the town of Opava.
