The nature of the trail

The trail leads along quality paved roads, so it is ideal for both pedestrians and cyclists, and even for prams and wheelchairs. In certain sections, it overlaps with other nature trails, such as the Silver Trail.

The total length of the route is 8.5 km, but in the future it is planned to extend the trail to a 25 km long circuit around Kutná Hora.

Where does the trail lead?

The beginning of the nature trail is in the Vlašský dvor in Kutná Hora - in Žižkova brána street. From here it goes to Vrchlice, then it is divided into two routes, one of which leads along the Royal Walk, after which the two routes merge again. The first route leads along the Plains and introduces visitors to the local nature and history of the city and its surroundings. After the two routes connect again, the trail leads to the district in Huty and to the church of St. Trojice, to the Bylanka valley to Škvárovna.

In these places, the trail is again divided into a path to the Great Pond and around the mills as an educational trail through the Vrchlice Valley. Subsequently, it turns back to Kutná Hora.
