You will surely be pleased that during the tour you can immediately admire the individual castle collections - on the ground floor of the room for representation with a collection of oriental porcelain, music salon and collection of engravings, a huge library and the prince's chapel, which exhibits priestly robes. Rájec is connected with the Salm family
If you wanted to look in detail at the original history of the castle, you would find that the castle stands on the site of one of the two original Gothic fortresses. It was rebuilt into a Renaissance chateau in the 16th century. However, this chateau burned down, so the new owner of the Salm family had a new chateau built. He chose a modern variant of the Rococo-Classicist chateau, which his descendants perfectly equipped and sensitively maintained. After 1945, the castle was nationalized. Reconstructions and restoration of original equipment took place here and a valuable picture gallery was established.
