Troja Palace

If you have fun with animals in the Prague Zoo and you have a taste for something more cultural and historical, visit the Troja Castle just near the zoo. On the right bank of the Vltava in the Troja district there is a baroque building with a chateau garden. In its area you will also find a stable or wine shop, in the garden a small maze, fruit and ornamental trees, vases, fountains and orangeries. You will definitely not be disappointed by a tour of Troja Castle.

Troja Castle was built in the 17th century by Václav Vojtěch of Šternberk. The designer was inspired by Italy, with Italian and Dutch artists participating in the decoration.
