Interesting facts Prostějov - Kostelec na Hané - Lutotín - Čunín - Konice - Jesenec + back train

You will start your journey in the town of Prostějov near the Hloučela housing estate. Take the road towards Kostelec na Hané. The road is copied by the railway line - as it is most of the way. This will be your guide.

In Kostelec, it is worth mentioning Petr Bezruč's house with a planned exhibition about this writer. In the center of the village, connect to the cycle route No. 5039 and let it lead to the village of Lešany and the village of Zdětín. The path leads through a peaceful landscape of fields and meadows. In the villages you can see small sacral monuments with typical village architecture.

Then you will get to the village of Ptení by road. Of interest is the local castle, built on the foundation of a fortress from the 13th century. To continue, connect to the cycle route No. 5031 in the direction of Ptenský dvorek. Here again, you will not be surprised by any terrain irregularities or climbs.

Another interesting place on the route of this trip suitable for stopping is the village of Stražisko. Here you can refresh yourself at the local renovated swimming pool, or visit the Baroque Church of the Guardian Angels. However, this requires getting off the bike and overcoming a few steep altitude meters. The Stations of the Cross can also be seen here. From this top part there is a nice view of the immediate surroundings.

From Stražisko, continue smoothly on a straight asphalt road to a village with a special name - Čunín. During the trip you can stop at the Devil's Ponds - a specialized fishing area with refreshments and fresh fish.

After about two kilometers and passing through the outskirts of the village Křemenec, you will find yourself in the district town of Konice. Along the way you will also see two ponds - a refreshing oasis of shade during the summer day. In the town you can buy groceries or souvenirs. The area of the local castle and the nearby church is worth a stop.

To reach the destination, go through the city center on the cycle route No. 5030. The village of Jesenec is very close. It is especially important as a starting point for the Kladecko Nature Trail. In the end, you can see a baroque chateau in Jesenec, but it is inaccessible to the public from the inside - in recent years it has served as the Institute of Social Care. From the train station, you can comfortably drive back to Prostějov.
