Interesting facts Lipno Lake Trail

The cycling and in-line trail is partly lit, so cyclists and skaters can use it without any worries even in the evening and at night. The illuminated section is located between Frymburk and Lipno and measures about 8 km. The trail also includes numerous bends, smaller descents and climbs.

The section connecting Lipno nad Vltavou with the village of Přední Výtoň, which stretches along the shores of Lipno and offers breathtaking views of the lake and the surrounding landscape, connects directly to the Jezerní stezka. Then the road connects to the section to Frýdava, which has the character of communication with modest traffic. There is a ferry from Frýdava to Frymburk, which offers a unique experience that is already relatively unique in the Czech Republic.

The trail can only be used by cyclists, pedestrians and in-line skaters. If you drive the whole route back and forth, you will drive approximately 24 km.

The character of the trail is relatively undemanding, so even less skilled skaters and cyclists, beginners and even children can handle it.

You can get on the trail in Lipno nad Vltavou. It is possible to park the car in the parking lot at Bikepark. If you set out on the trail from Frymburk, then it is possible to park here and set off immediately. Another parking lot is in the village Kobylnice, about halfway along the trail.
