Interesting facts Panská lookout tower

This iron lookout tower is located on Panský vrch, about 1 km west of the village of Drmoul near Mariánské Lázně and about 35 km southeast of Cheb. The lookout tower, which also serves as a mobile operator's transmitter, is located at an altitude of 650 meters and its total height is 55 meters.

From the viewing platform there is a beautiful view of the Slavkov Forest, Dyleň, Lázně Kynžvart, Přimda or Mariánské Lázně. 207 steps will take you to a height of 40 meters above the ground.

The easiest access to the lookout tower is from the road connecting Drmoul and Tři Sekery. The road is well marked and the lookout tower can be seen from a distance.

Outside the winter season, the lookout tower is accessible daily and open without restrictions.

The construction of the lookout tower is standardized and serves as a transmitter for the mobile operator Vodafone. It is located on Panský vrch at an altitude of 650 meters and its viewpoint has been serving tourists since 2008, following an agreement between Vodafone and the Drmoul Municipal Authority. The tower was built by the company Hakk from Třebíč and the construction project was prepared by the company PSKON Engineering. The lookout tower is open to visitors every day at your own risk. The operation of the lookout tower is taken care of by the Drmoul Municipal Office, which owns the land on which the tower stands.


The ceremonial opening of the lookout tower took place on November 15, 2008. This event was accompanied by a rich cultural program.
