The local lookout tower was built on the initiative of the then owner of the estate, Count Jindřich Vilém Haugwitz, who had it built for surveying purposes. This happened in 1831, when the assessment of the stable cadastre of Moravia was carried out. The count took the construction of the lookout tower to help the surveyors. This 40 meter high ornament of the park was visible from afar. Its top was allegedly damaged during the Prussian-Austrian war and had to be demolished, which reduced the height of the lookout tower to the current 25 meters.

During the 19th century, it changed its purpose to a tourist lookout tower, so it can be said that it served the surveyors only for a short time.
The Empire tower has a square floor plan and on the upper floors there is an octagonal floor plan. At the foot of the lookout tower, the masonry is 2-3 meters thick. 105 oak spiral staircases lead you to the viewing platform. The ceiling of the observation deck is decorated with zodiac decorations.

On October 2, the tower was registered in the monument fund of the State Institute of Monument Care. Repairs to the lookout tower were expected in 1999, 2000 and then in 2004. Although, according to experts, the lookout tower is not endangered, cracking masonry appears and plaster falls. At present, the lookout tower is owned by the municipality of Kramolín.
