The lookout tower was first opened to tourists in 2002. It is 28.2 meters high and a total of 128 steps lead to the observation platform at a height of 25 meters. The reward for overcoming them will be a view of Bystřice nad Pernštejnem Vítochov, Dolní Rožínka, the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands and more. If the weather is favorable, you will also see the Novohradské Mountains or the Alps.

You can find the lookout tower at the eastern edge of Krasín, by the asphalt road. There is also a red marked hiking trail around the lookout tower, which connects Vír and Dalečín.

The lookout tower is open every day from 10 am to 7 pm.

The local lookout tower was created thanks to Libor Jedliček, a private investor whose intention was to make this area more attractive. The lookout tower belongs to the area in which a ski lift was opened in 2002. The construction of the lookout tower was also supported by the town hall of Bystrice. It took a long time for its construction, but due to lack of funds, it never completed its construction. In connection with the construction of the lookout tower, the city has set a condition for the year-round opening and for the lookout tower to harmonize well with the surrounding landscape.


The project was developed by Petr Štorek and construction began in February 2002. The structure consists of chipped concrete blocks.
The ceremonial opening of the lookout tower took place on May 25, 2002. A buffet is built at the foot of the lookout tower and wheelchair users can also get to the lookout tower.
