Milíře lookout tower near Rozvadov

This iron lookout tower was built as a transmitter of a mobile operator. It is located on the top of Tomášek Hill near the settlement of Milíře, approximately 5 km east of Rozvadov and about 20 km south of Tachov.

The lookout tower is built at an altitude of 580 meters and was opened in the autumn of 2001. Its total height is 35 meters and the viewing platform is located at a height of 25 meters above the ground. 126 steps lead up it, after which the view of Přimda, the castle ruins, the military tower on the Great Bell or the Bohemian Forest and part of Germany will open up in front of you.

You can reach the lookout tower by car or follow the blue marked hiking trail that connects the Cycherák camp with Rozvadov. Another option is to use the Vyhlídková nature trail, which begins and ends in Rozvadov.

The lookout tower is freely accessible and open daily without restrictions.

The settlement of Milíře lies about 5 km to the east of the border village Rozvadov. The lookout tower also serves as a transmitter for the mobile operator. This steel structure was built here in 2001 and was opened to the same year in the autumn. The operator of the lookout tower is the Municipal Office Rozvadov.
