The lookout tower is located on the highest point of Petrovice II, at an altitude of 475 meters. It was built in 2004 by Český Mobil and was of course intended to serve as a transmitter. In addition to the tourist function, this building also helped to improve the signal of all mobile operators in the area. Because the land on which the tower stands is municipal, it was leased by Český Mobil for ten years.
