Interesting facts Radejčín lookout tower in Český Středohoří
This iron building is located on a small hill near the railway station Radejčín, at an altitude of about 370 meters. It was officially opened to tourists in July 2010 and its total height is 30 meters.
A total of 97 steps lead to the viewing platform, located at a height of 20 meters. From here you will see České Středohoří, Krušné hory and more.
In the direction from Prague, take the E55 road and in Velemín turn right to Bílý Újezd. Then go through Hrušovka over the Kletečná mountain to the Radejčín railway station. After the crossing, turn right and walk along the yellow marked hiking trail to the lookout tower. It is a dirt road.
The lookout tower is open daily from 10 am to 6 pm.
The local lookout tower has been located in Radejčín since 2009 and is part of the Vodafone mast. It has a sheathed structure with a height of 30 meters. This height was the maximum possible that the Administration of the Protected Landscape Area of České Středohoří allowed. This institution also suggested that the building be used as a lookout tower at the same time. At the end of November, the construction was completed and at the beginning of March 2010 it was approved. On April 10, it was opened once thanks to the event of the Club of Friends of Lookout Towers, but otherwise it was closed until July 2010, when it was officially opened.
