Paddlers are attracted by the difficulty
The Sázava River overcame a significant height difference in this area and created a deep valley here. The flowing water created depressions called giant pots and rock thresholds with rapids and beautifully clear water. The flow of the river is on the verge of navigability, which attracts paddlers. It is popular to go on inflatable boats for white water and closed kayaks. When the water level is low during the dry season, stones emerge from the riverbed, in the amount of which the water is almost lost.
The river valley is boulder-like
The large number of boulders at the bottom of the river is explained by local legend. For subscribing to the soul, the devil was to help the farmer fertilize the field. After ten years, when the deadline expired, the farmer wanted to fool the devil and sprinkle holy water on the dwelling. The devil was angry and wanted to throw stones at the farmer. You can also admire plants and animals
The local mixed forest consists of spruces, beeches, hornbeams, lindens, maples, alders and willows. You will also find rarer plants such as valerian, periwinkle, periwinkle, sedge, stingray and more. From Žďárské vrchy, rains brought nine-year-olds, an alpine rose, a chrysanthemum, a silice, a primrose, a smokestack and other interesting species of mountain and foothill vegetation. The animal kingdom is represented, for example, by amphibians, especially the salamander, from birds it is possible to name the kingfisher and from rare mammals mainly the river otter.
