Balinské valley

The Balinské údolí Nature Park was established on 16 April 1984. The subject of protection was the preservation of the area for its landscape values and its use for the recovery of citizens and their lessons. It is located southwest of Velké Meziříčí between the villages of Velké Meziříčí, Oslavice, Baliny and Uhřínov. It covers an area of 440 ha. The nature trail is 5 km long and starts at the road Velké Meziříčí - Uhřínov opposite the turn to the hotel Amerika. It ends in the village of Baliny. There are 16 information boards with interactive elements on the trail. The most important animals of the Balinský Valley are the kingfisher, the water cinquefoil and the river otter. The most important plants are the two-leaved woodpecker, the two-leaved butterbur, the sedge and the juniper.
