Interesting facts Králický sněžník

Králický sněžník was formed by tectonic strokes in the younger Tertiary and is formed by metamorphic rocks (gneisses and crevices). Crystalline limestones and dolomites, amphibolic shales and quartzic shales occur to a lesser extent. Later, in the Quaternary, the area was modeled by a glacier. This caused the formation of frost log cabins, rocky seas and in the valley of the Morava river a remarkable karst with caves.

Among the rare species of plants, there are, for example, Solomon's Thistle, Austrian Chamois or Bearded Bell. Among the protected animals, you will find the forest crane or the mountain lizard.
