Lipno treetop path

Following the example of our German neighbors, a giant wooden lookout tower was also built in the Czech Republic, subtly set in the landscape of the Šumava forests. It is called the Treetop Trail and stands on the top of Kramolín, a famous ski resort on the Lipno Dam.

The trail is 675 meters long, it is complemented by educational elements and when you reach the top of the lookout tower you can look into the landscape from a height of 40 meters. Here you can see the entire Lipno Dam, including its surroundings, and the neighboring Novohradské Mountains.

There are several different ways to get to the trail. From the central car park, which is free for visitors, you can take the four-seater cable car, bus or on foot along the marked route. The road is also suitable for cyclists.
In the summer months, you can enjoy the return journey with adrenaline in your blood. You have the opportunity to descend from the top of Kramolín on a scooter, which will be lent to you here.

One of the sought-after and praised attractions of the trail is a dry water slide, which boasts the attribute of the longest dry water slide in the Czech Republic. It is 52 meters long and you can try it when descending from the observation tower.
Another accompanying entertainment is the 11 adrenaline stops that line the trail to its top.

The whole trail is barrier-free, so it is really suitable for all visitors who want to visit it. It is open all year round.
