Lašská educational trail through Kopřivnice

The route is conceived as a circular one and you can take a short turn to Šostýn Castle. The total length of the route is 16 km plus 2 x 400 meters to the branch. There are a total of 18 information boards on the route.

• Lowest point: Dr. Eduard Beneš Park (326 m above sea level)
• Highest point: Červený kamen peak (690 m above sea level)
• Elevation gain on the route: 364 meters

The Lašská nature trail partially overlaps with the Lašská nature trail through Štramberk, specifically at the stops Botanická zahrada, Kamenárka, U Panny Marie and Bílá hora.

The circular path has a beginning and an end at the railway station in Kopřivnice, but it can of course be changed and planned differently. There is an information board at the ČD railway station, which informs you about the entire trail.

The trail is suitable for pedestrians, but in some parts it is passable by bike and pram. Overall, it is light to moderately demanding and takes you approximately 5 to 7 hours. It passes through the towns of Kopřivnice and Štramberk.

Nice panoramic views await you, for example, at the top of Pískovna, Červený kamen or Bílá hora, where there is a lookout tower.

The Štramberk section of the Lašská nature trail will take you through all the most important places in the town of Štramberk and its surroundings. There are a total of 13 information boards on the route, 4 of which overlap with the Kopřivnice Trail.

• Lowest point: crossroads on Dolní street (365 m.n.m.)
• Highest point: the peak of Bílá hora (557 m.n.m.)
• Elevation gain on the route: 192 meters

The route is conceived as a circular one, it starts and ends at the Národní sad stop and its total length is 6 km.
