By public transport bus, bicycle and car

Máj Rope Park is located on the outskirts of České Budějovice, in the Bor Forest, which can be reached by public bus. All you have to do is get off at the Máj - Antonína Barcala stop, walk to the local grove and from there go on foot along the asphalt road along the forest to the right. After about 500 m you will see the primary school playground on the right side. And just behind the playground is a rope park.

You can also come to the rope park by bike. For example, the city cycle path marked with the letter G leads to the May - Antonín Barcal stop.

Of course, you can also park your car on Antonín Barcal Street and walk to the rope park.

Experience even outside opening hours

The May Rope Park is open in the months of April - October, of which all days of the week in July and August. If the weather is extremely bad, the park is closed.

Even in bad weather or outside opening hours, however, you and your children can take a nice walk around the area. There are many trails and forest paths, nature is in very good condition, you can walk here with a stroller and with very small children. Refreshments are available at a nearby pub.

In the rope park itself you can try a total of 3 routes:

Yellow

The yellow route is 100 meters long, is slightly demanding and built at a height of 6 - 8 meters. On this route you will be able to try various easier obstacles, such as jumps, nets, footbridges. The yellow route is suitable for the beginning and for everyone.

Green

The green route is a bit longer, more demanding than the yellow and built at a height of about 10 meters. There are 15 obstacles waiting for you, of which the last, vertical obstacle is probably the most challenging. This route is not too long, but it is still more challenging than the first, so it is suitable for the more advanced and daring.

Red

The red route is the longest, highly demanding, with lots of vertical obstacles and is suitable for even the most demanding and experienced conquerors of the rope park. The highest obstacle can be found at a height of 12 meters and at the end you will find a cable car with a length of 79 meters.

Programs for families with children

For families with children, the rope park offers 3 programs:

For the exam

- for families with children aged 6 - 10 years
- easier route, for about 1 hour

For sure

- for families with children aged 11-14
- medium-difficult route, for about 2 hours

Extremely

- for families with children over 14 years of age
- difficult route, for about 2-3 hours

The price of each offered package (always for 2 adults and 2 children) also includes the rental of equipment and the supervision of experienced instructors.
