Olympia Brno park track - trains for children

Everything here looks like a real train station, it's just smaller than usual. The picturesque main railway station is an example of a typical rural railway station from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, and it will surely enchant you. You buy a ticket at the window behind the entrance, sit on a bench on the covered platform and wait for the train to arrive. It is operated by a modeler who sits on a locomotive and drives the train just like a real train driver. Modified models of passenger cars will take you on the 1.5-kilometer-long track, which will carry children and adults without any problems. The front and rear parts are replicas of trains and are connected by a padded bench, on which you sit astride. Along the way you will pass a mini-tunnel, you will reach the end of the rest area to the amphitheater and then the train will take you back to the main station, it all takes about a quarter of an hour. In addition to the station building, there is also a railway depot, a repair shop and a rotunda with a turntable for individual locomotives or wagons. During the whole season, the first weekend of the month is always intended for the operation of steam locomotives, which can be an even better experience for children and adults.

In addition to the train track, in the places between the shopping center and the flowing river Svratka, there is a green relaxation zone, which includes Olympia park, a playground for small and large children full of climbing frames, swings and many other attractions. In the right part of the area there is a high climbing wall. There is also a snack bar open by the course, if you would like to relax for a while after all those experiences and have a taste.
