Baba ruins

When a ruin is mentioned, many imagine the torso of a castle or church. Few people remember another type of dilapidated monument. And it can also be a vineyard press. However, it is not yet known whether it is really the remains of such a building from the 17th century, founded by Jindřich Žežula, a citizen of the New Town, or rather a romantic fashion affair from the 19th century. What is documented, however, is an act from 1858, when Gothic arches were inserted into the building. This raised the appearance of the beautiful ruins by many degrees. We are talking about Baba in Prague - Dejvice. It is part of the so-called Babské rocks on the left bank of the Vltava.

It is up to everyone to evaluate it as a fact after climbing this site. You will feel good here anyway, because the view of Prague and its nooks will excite you. The panorama of Hradčany, Troja or Stromovka looks magical from this point. The place is also a stop for lovers, and even several wedding ceremonies are held here every year.
