Ekovláček is a new tourism service that focuses on the broadest strata of the population, taking into account those for whom tourism in general can be very difficult, ie. not only for the disabled, but also for families with small children, for whom a train ride is an easier journey and at the same time a great attraction.

Eco train route

Ekovláček passes through several stops, while its journey begins at the ČD railway station, where the local attraction is the Imperial Lounge from the time of Emperor František Ferdinand d´Este. The next stop is the Benešov grammar school, which boasts a reconstructed auditorium. Subsequently, the train route leads around the Ferdinand brewery, where beer has been brewed since 1595. It also goes around the city sports grounds (swimming pool, tennis courts and football fields) and the city and Jewish cemetery. Then follows the path to the hill Karlov, which dominates the whole Benešov, and where the ruins of the monastery and the church are located.

The seventh stop is Masaryk Square in Benešov, the eighth is Sokolovna, built in the Art Nouveau style, and the ninth is the Rudolf and Stephanie Hospital, and this is the last stop in Benešov.

Then you will find yourself in the middle of the picturesque nature, which already surrounds the Konopiště chateau. This is followed by the Želetinka stop and then the main car park at the Konopiště chateau, near which is the Jawa Motorcycle Museum with a unique collection mapping the history of this world-famous brand. Ekovláček then stops at the former house of the fishing Konopiště pond and subsequently at the Natural Theater. Then it goes to the top of Tuškov, from where there is an impressive view of the surroundings. From Tuškov, go down to the stop under the Konopiště chateau.
