An experience not only for children

Although the chateau park is equipped with attractions aimed specifically for the joy of children, their adult entourage will not be bored either. The discoverer of the fairy-tale land, Vítězslava Klimtová, has a permanent exhibition of ghosts, elves and fairies installed here, after which the path leads past a gingerbread cottage with a hedgehog and a hedgehog to charming miniatures of 32 famous Czech castles, chateaux and other interesting objects in the Czech Republic. Among them we can find, for example, the well-known Karlštejn, Kokořín, Orlík, Kost or Červená Lhota. Little elves lurk near the mountain cottages, we can also find a church from nearby Hrusice or Šemík's horse from Neumětel.

The intention to create a place for children and adults to entertain, with a number of attractions that arouse people's pride and interest in their own history, was completely fulfilled at Berchtold Castle. Visitors of all ages will find a beautiful environment, picturesque surroundings, the opportunity to play sports or play a game, trips to explore and interesting attractions.

One of the most sought-after places here is Hell, located in one of the underground bunkers. The devils here even respect the souls of all sinners, and those who are afraid of these fairy-tale creatures can visit the gingerbread house, for example, try to save Jeníček from the clutches of the hedgehog, pet the cat Mikeš or take a picture with a three-headed dragon.

The whole area, which is open all year round from 8 am to 9 pm, is a great tip for a family trip! From 10 am to 4 pm, there are also tours of Berchtold Castle, which are also suitable for smaller children.

The nature trail through Kunice Nature, which is about 1.2 km long and on which ten interactive whiteboards are located, starts right next to the chateau.
